ABOUT US.

Baddie Brunch was born in January 2016 from one simple truth:
Black women deserved a space where ambition, joy, and community could meet over one unforgettable brunch table. What started as small gatherings in Dallas grew into a movement — curated events, cultural moments, and a sisterhood powered by women balancing full careers, personal ventures, and the desire to connect with like-minded women. Now, as we approach our 10-year anniversary, Baddie Brunch is stepping into a new era. One that honors the foundation we built, reflects where today’s women are, and prepares us for where we’re headed next.

After our last official brunch in 2019, we took a strategic pause — refining our vision, listening to our community, and imagining what the next chapter should look like.

Today, Baddie Brunch is rebuilding with intention.
We’re focused on:

  • Curated, culturally aligned experiences for ambitious Black women

  • Meaningful connection that extends beyond one event

  • Thoughtful programming that supports both personal and professional growth

  • A 2026 return to the signature brunch that started it all

We’re not rushing into mass programming.
We’re building with care - with YOU in mind.

A Baddie is…

A Baddie is a woman redefining the word for herself: not just beauty, not just aesthetics, but a full-life identity. She’s smart, stylish, self-aware, and self-expanding. She honors her ambition without abandoning her well-being. She invests in her goals and her rest. She builds community, nurtures her passions, makes room for joy, and isn’t afraid to start over or level up. She’s the woman who does the work and has a life — and she lets herself want more.

The Mission

Our mission is to help women expand their lives through culturally aligned learning, meaningful connection, and intentional experiences that support both their careers and their personal ventures. We gather women who are doing both — building wealth, nurturing wellness, growing their dreams, and cultivating community — and create the tools, spaces, and conversations that help them live in true alignment. We exist to make growth feel accessible, connection feel natural, and ambition feel supported.

Sydney Chandler, Chief Experience Officer

“Hey, I’m Sydney — the Founder and Chief Experience Officer behind The Baddie Brunch.

This community was born from my own desire to bring brilliant Black women together in ways that felt stylish, intentional, and rooted in culture. For nearly 10 years, you’ve shown me that connection is still currency and that when women have the right room, the right energy, and the right conversations, everything shifts.

As we step into year 10, I’m committed to building Baddie Brunch with more clarity, more impact, and more alignment than ever. Thank you for growing with us, believing in us, and showing up with your fullest selves.

Here’s to what’s next.
